Use the Force Luke

Good ol' Luke. What an easy going little fella. I guess he doesn't have much of a choice being the youngest guy on the food chain. Poor guy is going to think his name is really Luke Skywalker as his older brothers always call him by it. What a good kid. He's already carrying around a baseball bat and throwing balls back to me, left handed of all things. I have 15 right handed baseball gloves laying around the garage and good ol' Luke has to come up as a lefty. Oh well, harder to hit as he gets older.

The ol' ball game

Tyler and his team the Pub's,(no, I didn't have anything to do with the name of the team) are off to a hot start, 6-0. Tyler has been playing catcher and pitcher most of the year. The other day they brought him in with the bases loaded and two outs. He struck the batter out, then came back in the next inning, struck out the first two batters, then got they're big hitter to ground out. Big fun.

Go Cats!

The boys and I, along with their friends Ryan and Reed, spent a great evening watching the Kentucky/Auburn baseball game in Auburn late last month. My buddy Charles Bertram's son Michael plays for the Cats and the proud pop and his wife never miss a game. We we're able to hook up and enjoy Kentucky's victory. After the game, the boys got a chance to meet Michael and get his autograph. A grand time indeed.
Top photo shows Ryan, Tyler, Reed, and Alex. Bottom left is me and Charles, bottom right is the boys with Michael.
Cheers,
Rob
